ORCHARD PARK PRESCHOOL has been offering quality child care based in the heart of Huntington since 1967.

We are a pro-active community led charity providing a much valued service for families and carers in Huntington and surrounding areas.

We offer places for children from 2 years old to school age priding ourselves in our excellent relationships with children and their families. Emotional well-being underpins the philosophy of Orchard Park and we reflect that through ensuring Children in our care are nurtured and well cared for in a warm, welcoming and relaxed environment.

We will provide a good pre-school education, using the Early Years Foundation Stage learning outcomes and your child’s interests and abilities we plan the environment to enable children to learn through play experiences.

Here at Orchard Park Pre-School we give children the opportunity to express themselves through their Social, Creative, Knowledge and Physical skills with experiences such as role-play, circle activities, snack and lunch clubs and lots of messy play!

Outdoor play is a key stimulant to children’s learning and we ensure children have free flow access to our secure outdoor area throughout the session.

For many children, starting in pre-school is their first step towards independence. At Orchard Park Pre-School our aim is to help them mix socially and to develop through a wide range of experiences and activities in a safe and happy environment.

With the emphasis on play, activities include cookery, music, singing, painting, water play, craft and dressing up. We have a secure garden area where the children can play with a wide range of outdoor toys. We also organise outings and have visits throughout the year.
